Well, mine does anyway. The taiso, the exercises we begin class with, all have names. They are performed in a particular sequence. You are supposed to perform them all. I knew they had names. I knew there was an order to them. I didn't know we are supposed to do them all during each class.
So now I'm paying more attention. I'm working on memorizing the names and the order. I had already been working on doing them as correctly and precisely as I could, although there is always the feeling that I need to see more detail in each and every one.
The underlying thought I had tonight driving home is, what else am I not paying proper attention to in class, what is getting past my focus? The probable answer to that question is everything.
